3. No automatic acceptance of work

Submitting an enquiry, drawing, form, checklist, calculator result or resource request does not mean ALE has accepted the work.

New work is reviewed for technical fit, drawing quality, material requirements, inspection requirements, repeat demand, lead time, capacity and commercial suitability.

ALE may decline work that is not a fit for its equipment, production system, quality requirements, risk profile or commercial terms.

4. Quotations and supply terms

Any quotation, order acceptance, manufacturing work or supply of parts is governed by the specific quotation, order documents, agreed commercial terms and any separate terms of trade issued by ALE.

If there is any inconsistency between these website terms and a signed agreement, written quotation or agreed terms of trade, the more specific written terms will apply to the extent of the inconsistency.

5. Drawings and technical files

You must only upload or send drawings, photos, specifications, part files or other technical information that you are authorised to provide.

You are responsible for ensuring supplied drawings, files and specifications are current, accurate and properly controlled.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, ALE relies on customer-supplied drawings, specifications, material instructions, revision details and inspection requirements.

ALE does not accept design responsibility unless this is expressly agreed in writing.

6. Confidential information

ALE treats customer drawings, specifications, RFQ documents and technical files as confidential business information.

We may share relevant technical information with staff, contractors, suppliers or external processors where reasonably required to review, quote, manufacture, inspect, finish or supply the relevant work.

Do not send information that requires special legal, export-control, defence, ITAR, security or handling requirements unless ALE has confirmed the correct process with you in writing.

7. Downloadable resources

This website may provide guides, checklists, templates, calculators and other resources.

These resources are provided as practical business tools only. They do not guarantee supplier performance, manufacturing outcomes, lead times, cost reductions, stock availability or risk elimination.

You must apply your own judgement and obtain appropriate technical, commercial or legal advice where required.

8. Downtime calculators and scorecards

Any calculator, scorecard or risk tool on this website provides an indicative result only.

Outputs depend on the information entered by the user. They are not a formal assessment, quotation, promise of capacity or guarantee of supply.
